Gun Bans Lower “Gun Deaths”

Just look at how well its working in Chicago!

The 18-year-old man was attacked about 7:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of West Balmoral Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.

Witnesses told police that five to six males beat the man and may have used a bat or pipe, O’Brien said.

When responding officers arrived, paramedics were treating the man on the scene, police said. He was initially taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead Monday morning.

Gun bans DO lower “Gun Death”, I won’t argue with that, and there are plenty of valid studies showing that. I don’t support gun bans because they don’t lower violent crime or murder rates, and there are some studies that show they actually increase.

I ridicule those who use the term “Gun Death”, because unlike them I care about human life.

I have to disagree with you that gun bans lower gun deaths. It only lowers gun deaths on the criminal elements by armed law-abiding citizens.

DC, Chicago, NY all have extremely high “gun deaths” with the majority of these being criminals using them on the innocent and each other.
