See a bunch of teenagers wandering around with a baseball bat, maybe you think they’re heading to the local field or park, or empty lot for a pickup game. Maybe Not.
Sheriff Charlie Crumpton says Tazah Hosey, 18, is now charged with murder. Deputies had already arrested two others — Bronson James, 34, and Koda Williamson, 26 — and charged them with murder…According to authorities, Jessie Beech, 21, of Raleigh was badly injured in the fight when he was beaten with a baseball bat. He was taken to a hospital in Jackson, where he died on Saturday.
A baseball bat is a thing I think we all had. I certainly walked over to the local field or park to slap the ball around with my friends. Those who use the metric “Gun Death” justify their made-up metric claiming that somehow guns are the key factor in violent deaths.
If this is true why do I own guns, but have never killed anybody? Why is it I, and most of the teens and young adults in the country own a baseball bat, but it was these three monsters that used it as a murder weapon, while the rest of us used it for a fun and non-violent game. Hell I’ve been hurt, and hurt others vastly more with nothing more than a Football than I ever have with a baseball bat, simply because of the rules of the game.
Maybe its the people, and not the tools.

I’m trying to think of a more obvious way to make your point. Can’t do it. This should be on the front page of the NYT, with “DUHHHH” as a headline.
I happen to be one of the three that were charged with murder. I would like to inform whatever idiot that called my brother, & my fiance, and myself “MONSTERS” that I am presently FREE with no murder charge on my record. People should really investigate BOTH sides of a story before they form their small-minded opinions. Thanks. God Bless..
2 sides to the story……well the person that died from that baseball bat was my family so yea whoever was the one swinging is a monster……yall are sick people
It was nobody’s intention for him to die… I would see how we could be “sick people” if it were premeditated, but it wasn’t… Nor was it a surprise attack. It’s a shame that a young man died, but the fact is, he & his people willingly went to that cabin that night to fight. Living that type of lifestyle is very risky. We ALL knew that. Violence always has the possibility of escalating out of control, yet we ALL still made our OWN decisions to be there. I served 4 yrs & 3 months in prison for killing a man that I never touched because I made my OWN decision to simply be there. If I would’ve written a statement like the majority of the people that were questioned, I would’ve gotten to go home too. But, unlike them, I won’t throw another under the bus to save myself. A few have actually apologized for doing so, soon after they realized what really happened, how it really started, & who’s idea it really was to meet at the cabin… If I walk onto a busy highway & get run over, my people will probably be mad at the driver that runs me over, true enough. But, wouldn’t I be who made my own decision to step out into traffic?? His death is a tragedy. But, NOBODY was innocent that night. Period.
