A half-million-dollar bond has been set for a Milwaukee high school valedictorian charged in the beating death of his girlfriend’s two-year-old son.
26-year-old Corey Benson – who was charged with abusing the same youngster last October – appeared in court Thursday on new charges of first-degree reckless homicide and two counts of bail jumping. All three charges are felonies.
Prosecutors said Benson was free on bond from the initial beating when he pounded Karmari Curtis in the head and other parts of his body last Saturday.
So this shitbird is charged with beating his Girlfriend’s kid…so they let him out so he can finish the job. Nice, huh? Good thing he didn’t have a gun, somebody might have been hurt!
