“Gun Death” Free Breakfast

This is an older story but boy is it a sick one:

Davies, 16, lured his ex-girlfriend to a secluded spot where he killed her to win a bet over a free breakfast…Davies told him: ‘Do you know how hard it is to break someone’s neck? She was facing away from me and I thought, “This is it, I’m going to go for it”.

‘I tried to break her neck. She was screaming so I picked up the rock and started to hit her with it. The worst part was feeling and seeing her skull give way.’

Tried to use his bare hands, and when that failed he used a rock. Things we ALL have. What’s different is we DON’T kill people, for breakfast, fun, profit, or anything. IT IS NOT THE TOOLS! This is not a “Gun Death”, but hey its also good to point out that very few of us with guns misuse them, just like very few people with hands and rocks misuse them.

Of course being an older story I dug up the follow-up story.

A teenager found guilty of luring his ex-girlfriend into a wood and smashing her skull with a rock was told today he will serve at least 14 years in prison.

So if he keeps his nose clean, and keeps busy in Prison he’ll serve 14 years for murder! She was only 15 years old at the time! He’ll be my age! (and I consider myself young, and I got a lot of life ahead of me!) Its a wonder Briton has such a violent crime problem! They’re asking for this. This is bad justice that a monster like this will again be free to roam the streets again.

Sometimes the motivations behind these things are just beyond my comprehension. I suppose that’s a good thing.

It looks like you have a pretty good backlog. Did you get the one I emailed you a week or so ago? Just want to make sure it didn’t get caught in a spam filter or something.

I just got done doing this upcoming week’s worth, the one you sent me will be in there. And I still have emails sitting in my inbox, but the week is done and I need to get cooking dinner.

Thanks to all who submit stories!

Reading between the lines, it looks like a free breakfast wasn’t the actual motivation. It appears that he made a statement along the lines that he was going to or wanted to murder her, then one of his dipshit friends bet him a breakfast he wouldn’t. So, he wanted to murder her anyway, and the free breakfast either had little to do with it or was simply another, smaller motivator.
