“Gun Death” Louisiana

They say Louisiana has some of the highest “Gun Death” in the nation

A Baker man convicted April 9 in the 2009 stabbing death of his wife, lawyer Chiquita Tate, in her downtown Baton Rouge office will not be sentenced Monday as originally scheduled, his lead attorney said Thursday.

But Louisiana has lax gun laws, why didn’t he shoot them? Also don’t we want to fixate on “Gun Death” because it makes domestic murder too easy? How did he manage to kill his wife without a gun?

Well, as the Politicians like to say, “The Real Question that needs to be asked” is why SHE didn’t have a Gun. With Louisiana’s “Lax” gun laws, combined with the fact that she was a Lawyer, and the fact that she was in a “Troubled Marriage”, any impediments to her getting a CCW should have been easily rectified.

Ladies, get and carry a gun. The life you save may be your own.

I saw this “gun death” story linked off Kotaku: “Mom charged with murder of 5-year-old son beat child to death because he broke the TV: prosecutors.”
