No Guns in bars! BAD THINGS CAN HAPPEN!
According to the criminal complaint, Schmitz came out of Schooner’s Tavern at about 12:30 on Sunday morning to have a cigarette with a group of people, but then that group got into a fight with another group across the street after a woman threw a glass in McDonald’s face.
Witnesses told police Schmitz was trying to pull people off a woman on the ground when he held his hand to his shirt and said, “You stabbed me.”
According to another witness, McDonald then said, “Yes, I did.”
Again no guns were used so the anti-freedom types will point out that a great tragedy was averted! Remember only “Gun Deaths” count!

Well, when Breda, Big Mike, William the Coroner, Mom Fallacy, my Wife and I departed the bar Friday Evening, the number of Fights that were Occurring around us was Unbelievable! I mean, it was like a, like a, well it was like that Night of Horrors at Lidia’s in Pittsburgh! Seriously, WTF is going on with all the Murders at the Bar? Seems like we’re getting at least one a week up here in Cleveland Land, and I’m reading stories that they are happening all across the country. Maybe to “Stop the Madness”, the Brady’s and the Japetes will Support Legislation Banning the Sale and Possession and Use of Alcohol! Shut Down the Bars! That’ll Stop the Killing!
Oh, wait, we tried that once back in the 1920’s and it was an Epic Fail.
