“Gun Death” Suicide

Now the anti-freedom zealots love using the metric of “Gun Death” and often quote 30,000 “Gun Deaths” in America. Of course about 17,000 of those are suicide, but of course only guns can be used for suicide, right?

David Phyall, 50, went ahead with the suicide because he was “irrationally opposed” to being moved out, a British inquest heard.

He tied the Black & Decker tool to a leg of a snooker table in his lounge with string, taped up the on button and plugged it into a timer.

Obviously we need to ban Snooker tables! I mean why would anybody have a Snooker table? Hell I had to look up to see exactly what “Snooker” was! Wouldn’t a Pool table have severed him better?

In the US guns are indeed a popular method of suicide. Of course the UK and its ban on guns, doesn’t have a noticeably lower suicide rate.

I think this clearly shows that people WILL find a way, no matter what you legislate. That’s the whole point to the “Gun Death?” Files!
