Another Damn good remix from OC Remix I’m a big fan of this artist too, here’s his OCR Page
Also I’ll point out that That the Game Deus Ex was one of the best blends of an RPG and a Fist Person Shooter of all times. Also with the UN being the villain, big-government global conspiracies, and Ayn Rand books scattered throughout the game and an interface that allowed you to pick them up and leaf through a few pages….not to mention a game were it was perfectly reasonable to plop down on a bar stool and smoke a pack of smokes and drink a few 40s (with an amusing drunk special effect) it was overall a really good game! I suspect the writers had their wookie suits on!
I have no idea with modern computers if its even possible to play this game in any form anymore. I do know the sequel was not terrible, but also not great at all.
it looks like you can get both in a box, and they MIGHT work: http://www.amazon.com/Deus-Ex-Complete/dp/B002XTYK9S/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1296311205&sr=8-5
Eidos is making another Deus Ex game; this one set 25 years prior to the first.
Looks like it comes out in March.
It’s on Steam, and it runs fine. There are even some (marginal) texture upgrade mods available. I replayed it last year sometime, and it was almost as good as I remembered.
oooh a direct download! I may have to dump some bux on that! and $10 short money!
Thanks!
Dude, you’re not helping my geekiness.
I LOVED that game. (Trying to find a replacement to keep myself amused, as I believe my game disk got lost in our PCS move and our beloved 360 went quarter-Red-Ring-o’Death on us. *curses*)
Played it on my Dell with Vista, and it adapted. I do believe that it was re-released for computer running Vista as well, as I saw a few copies on Amazon.com.
Go Check this out. Probably the best deal you’ll find, given no shipping.

Ah, Deus Ex…. god, I played through that thing so many times, there was so much you could do, so many ways to influence the story. The ending kinda clamped down on you in places, but not too terribly much.
Definitely worth a playthrough if you get it running on modern OSes, but since it really is just an Unreal 1 engine based game, getting it running should be fairly trivial, even for the old CD version.
Oh, and something that just occurred to me, if they made a non-eutactic bayonet (ala the dragon’s tooth), would Jay-G mount it on one of his guns?
The gun upgrade system is simply a Jay-G Simulator.
So yes.
