How cool is that. I’ve seen gobs of Fin Whales in my travels, but never a Blue. Still the Fins are FUCKING HUGE. Also I’ve never been in such a situation where I could just dive in and paddle around.
Still I’d be nervous as they are so big and powerful I’d be worried I’d get hurt (or eaten, given that this guy was obviously feeding and their mouths are GIANT) purely by accident.

LOL, I was in big steel-hull fishing boats. I would not want to be in one of those little crafts. He’s 100% right about being a bath toy….or just standard flotsam.
I mean when you’re swimming in a lake and you come up and push a leaf or a stick out of your way, do you give it a second thought?
