So I just sent an email to another local talk show host about an absoulte SLAUGHTER of John Rosenthal of Stop Handgun Violence. I’ll give you a teaser on Michael Graham’s blog
Hopefully I’ll have the radio audio up soon, it was quite spectacular.
Its nice to see the antis face a real debate rather than a padded panel of shills, and on the Boston stage none-the-less!

I see too many parallels with the arguments over socialism in the 19th century. The disarmers will probably follow the socialists and retreat in the face of hard, scientific fact to the position that liberty is amoral, and therefore the simple act of taking up argument with our side is prohibited. Observe:
Dan Baum: “It’s a hard thing to accept, but in a country of 350 million privately owned guns, the people who are inclined to do bad things with guns will always be able to get them. One might as well combat air crashes by repealing gravity. I’m not one for slinging statistics, because everybody can read into them what he wants to see.”
It’s not that there are guns in this country, it’s that there are guns *IN EVERY CORNER OF THE GLOBE*. (Oh, and they’re ominously titled “privately owned guns”, for whatever purpose that distinction is made.) The essential goal of the disarmer is that weapons are un-invented and forgotten. If we accept for a moment that this is possible, then we must still consider how this will happen while an overbearing bully state is continually thrusting guns in the faces of the people in an attempt to force compliance of an endless manure pile of incomprehensible and pointless rules.
