Oh good lord. The Elise is a quick car with a damn N/A 4 banger 2ZZ-GE stuffed in it and I’ve often thought it’d be cool if someone stuffed a built 3S-GTE from the old SW-20 in one, but that, that is just sick.
Sigh. One day I want to own something fast.
I mean seriously, I’m wondering how the lotus chassis handles that kind of power? Is it even driveable?
the answer is it isn’t a lotus chassis, its a carbon fiber monstrosity in the SHAPE of a Lotus Chassis. And I suspect its as drivable as any 1200lb supercar.
Which means I would be in a fiery wreck no matter HOW well it puts the power to the road.
I think they keep the frame, so it says something about Lotus that their car designed for a 200HP 4cyl is handling a 1200HP turbo 8 and huge brakes and tires just fine.
