This is SO much better than a “Gun Death”
A man who was found severely beaten on Minneapolis streets died two days after a teen and an adult man were charged in connection with the assault, police said.
Of course the victim could have made good use of a gun….but guns are bad, and we need to ban them. Of course this guy wasn’t a “Gun Death”:

Under the circumstances, I might almost prefer a “Gun Death” if I were that guy. “Gun Death” would be over in a few seconds. He died two days after charges were filed, which was more than a week after the attack. A week lying in a hospital slowly dying of brutal injuries.
But it’s better this way, because he’s somehow less dead than he would be if a gun were used.
