“Gun Death” Drunk Driver

Just like “Gun Free Zones” save lives, the laws against drunk driving save just as many!

The woman charged in a downtown Minneapolis hit-and-run crash that killed Augsburg College student Austin Conley told police she thought a rock smashed her windshield.

Teisha Randle, 20, of St. Paul is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide in what witnesses described as a high-speed crash in the Warehouse District early Sunday morning.

According to police dispatch records, the 911 caller kept saying, “The car was going 90 and hit this guy. I think he’s dead.”

Of course those who use “Gun Death” as a metric could care less about this story. I mean no guns were used, so what’s the big deal?
