A woman whose toddler plunged 50ft to his death after she put him on a ledge to take his photo at a Los Angeles Lakers game is suing the arena where the tragedy occurred.
Negligent, stupid, and tragic. All of those are for sure…but what this isn’t is a “Gun Death”

If anything it sounds like she should do jail time for negligence.

Well negligence at least. I don’t believe she meant to do harm, she’s just a dumb parent IMO. Although I think she’s pushing her luck by trying to sue the stadium when it was obviously her fault.
Notice how the antis aren’t calling for this couple to lose their rights permanently?
Despite what could be a worse lapse of judgement (babies wobble, it is what they do) in expecting a toddler to stay balanced than say having a firearm in a nightstand where a child normally doesn’t go.

Through the whole thing she still doesn’t see how she is responsible for what happened. It’s everyone’s fault but her.
She should be in jail based on her own words.
The judge apparently exercised a huge amount of judicial restraint. Me, I’d have had the bailiff slap the parents around and then have ordered sterilization for both.
