“Gun Death” Stabbing

From Boston, where knives are as heavily regulated as guns.

The slaying of four women in South Boston recently has become “a nightmare” for loved ones and lawmakers who say the scourge of drugs is dragging the neighborhood down a horrific path….The latest slaying came Friday night when 38-year-old Shannon McCormick, a mother of five who had just realized her dream of becoming a beautician, was stabbed to death. Sara Kelly, a 20-year-old homeless woman with a history of psychiatric problems, was sent to Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center yesterday to determine whether she’s fit to stand trial for McCormick’s murder.

Odd that a neighborhood with such a drug problem has such a crime problem:

Since then, cops have made more than 200 arrests in the neighborhood, including at least 90 for drug crimes, while a task force has been mobilized, officials said.

Its not the tool, its the person!
