    I think I like Moar Ghost’s N Stuff better.

I don’t even like Techno but I like DeadMauFive.

Yeah, deadmau5 is generally considered a Progressive or Electro House artist. 🙂 Ghosts N Stuff is absolutely House (it has a constant 4/4 kick), though whether it’s Progressive House or Electro House is up for debate…for instance, Beatport has the original mix of Ghosts N Stuff listed as Electro, while the version with the vocals is listed as Progressive. deadmau5 has explicitly stated that he enjoys confusing people about the genres of his music, so…

And that’s the sticky truth of music genres, is there are no hard lines anywhere. When somebody shoots up the middle its easy enough, but when people patrol the borderlands the line blurs.

Like is such-and-such a Sublime song Reggae or Ska? (see also Toots and the Maytals but they were on the forefront of the birth of Reggae from 1st wave Ska in Jamaica)

Or is such-and-such a Bob Dylan song a Folk song, or a Rock song, or an Electric Folk???

My love for taxonomy of all things, and music in particular makes me LOVE artists like that where as hard as I try I know I’ll ALWAYS be wrong! 8)
