NEAT!

A little bit of a dry video, but a really neat item

I can’t fully figure out how the gun is powered, but a very cool design!

I think I see it a rubber band is released by the rotation of the cocking lever.

The “barrel” indexing is done via inclined plane within the diameter of the rotating assembly and an inclined plane in metal on the handle.

This makes it so when the lever rotates it goes against both inclined planes and forces the “barrel” assembly to index.

At about 8:52 you can see the cut out in the internal diameter of a brass or copper stator. This keeps the pins from rotating except at the 12 o’clock position, where there is a cutout in the stator.

And is also why the wooden cowling that the trigger pulls back to fire is only at 11 o’clock to 1 o’clock.

This is also why he doesn’t have a good rate control to stop the rotation when he releases the trigger.
