I was quite surprised by the results.
I wouldn’t call them “conclusive”, but I stand by my claims that 9×19 and .45 ACP (11.43x23mm for people who like the metric designation, like myself) are damn near identical, so use what you like!

I’d have loved to see that include a .357 🙂
This argues for paying particular attention to Rule #4 and for returning to the plaster walls of days gone by. He says that a .45 is hard to conceal, but both .45 and 9mm are available in a wide variety of handguns from tiny up to requires-a-tripod. That’s something like saying that shirts are hard to wear.
+1 to that! My PM45 is the size of a J-Frame, and it weighs 24oz fully loaded with 6 rounds of 230 grain JHPs.
And I conceal a commander 1911 damn near every day (sometimes under a denim jacket!)
Indeed. I’m carrying a full-size 1911 right now, usually it’s just under a tshirt. Now there is an untucked button-up shirt acting as a cover garment, but only ’cause I wanted to feel pretty.
We could be twins! I’m wearing shorts and t-shirt, with a light cotton button-up covering my shoulder rig. Of course I’m doing the commander, but same diff.
