From Pissed. I knew a few people who did diving below frozen lakes for fun. Frankly I used to watch the divers do work on the fishing boats in the dead of winter and thought “There is no fucking way those guys are getting enough money to do this shit!” But these guys are lunatics.
That being said that is an AMAZING video and they did some awesome production. Still its 8 degrees outside and I feel even colder now.

I did some dry suit diving in the Puget Sound in winter. Even did wet suit stuff in early spring where the average high outside was 45-50. Worst part seriously is getting out of the water when wet suit diving. Dry suit diving with the right rig is actually really warm.
Maybe I’m just really warm blooded.
Well the big issue with dry suit diving is every professional diver I rubbed elbows with was the proud owner of at least one “Damp Suit”.
I don’t know if the recreational suits have it, but all the commercial suits have a big zipper across the crotch because every time you don and strip the suit the zippers seal a little worse the next time. So the zipper across the crotch means you can throw on the suit in the morning, and still be able to take your lunch break and hit the head, and get back into the drink without taking off the suit.
Thus resulting in a cold, wet crotch.
