There’s news and interesting things out there, but frankly I don’t have a lot of fight in me today.
Only thing I have to rap about is last night I was watching the 2006 remastered copy of African Queen on Netflix, and it knocked my socks off.

Read the book it’s based on a while ago. Not bad, and the movie is impressively faithful to the book.
I’ll take Bogart any day over most actors now alive, and this one has Katherine Hepburn too. Excellent choice.
I still remember the evening that I saw this for the first time. Not all that long ago either…
AAMOF, I did pick up a Ron Regan movie tonight. We’ll have to see how that picture has aged 🙂

I don’t know what makes me laugh more. Drinking tea made with steam boiler water, or drinking African River water “treated” with Gordon’s Gin.
I was a big fan of that movie when I was a kid. For Xmas one year, my folks got me an HO scale movie house that had “African Queen” playing for my train set.
