It’s the power of electronica!
I did this for an Ear Worm a couple weeks ago with a GoPro ad. I hadn’t seen an actual music video from Glitch Mob. Which interestingly that isn’t even the whole song, that’s the short version.
They generally use the short radio edit for videos just because of production costs, and radios prefer shorter songs so this might be the most familiar version.
Also DJs tend to prefer shorter tracks just because you have a better chance of pleasing all.
To which I say in the words of “Grandpa Ivan” from Angus, “FUCK ‘EM!”
