Some interesting details on the jerk who ambushed the firefighters responding to a blaze he set:

So the “Assault weapon” only managed to double his previous score, looks like his sister was killed in the fire. Thankfully this beast took his own life, so we won’t be letting him out again. I’m kinda curious on how you get manslaughter when you kill an old woman with a hammer. I suspect it was yet another plea deal that brings murderers right back to our doorsteps.

To be fair I suspect the Connecticut rifle was ban-compliant by not having the flash suppressor, which is one of those “Evil Features”….you know because cops can’t see where the shots are coming from or something….
