Better Late Than Never

When writing last night’s post I forgot I had saved these screen captures. I was going to post them when the George Zimmerman verdict was released. Better late than never:

Joke

Zimmerman Defense

I think Jason missed his calling as a race horse handicapper!

Yep, anti-gun activists. Against the man who had to defend his life to keep his brains inside his head. For an “Innocent Teen” on drugs beating a stranger’s head into the pavement!

Gotta rub their noses in it!

The knock knock joke, according to the defense team, was told to distract and shock the jury from the Prosecution’s emotionally charged opening statement. They claimed that you can’t refute an emotional argument with facts, so they told the joke to get the jury to forget the teary eyed opening statement of the Prosecution and pay attention to the Defense’s fact filled one.

Further proof that Jason isn’t thinking but only mindlessly parroting the party line.
Had he really been thinking, really examining this case, really considering the evidence; he probably would have recognized that the state failed in every way in making its case.

Most legal experts doubted the state would win from the beginning. Heck many of them wondered why the case wasn’t kicked out because the evidence didn’t support the charges, much less a chance for conviction.

Guess the Joyce Foundation doesn’t pay CeaseFire Oregon members to think, only babble.

Yeah we all said when Zimmerman was first charged there wasn’t a shred of evidence that Second Degree murder even happened.

It was really a stroke of mercy that the judge allowed the prosecution to bring up the manslaughter charge.

Tho even that was fairly trumped up.

The media made this trial happen, plain and simple. The murder 2 affidavit was such a joke (not even meeting the basic standards of an affidavit), but no way was a judge going to take all that pressure themselves. Any judge would make a jury decide this even if they presented a stick figure drawing of a guy with a gun shooting a boy running away as their affidavit.
