George Zimmerman or Emmanuel Goldstein?

George Zimmerman again in the news:

Former neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman was arrested Monday in Florida after deputies responded to a disturbance call at a house, authorities said.

Zimmerman will be transported and booked into jail, a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office statement said. Authorities provided few other details, and it was not immediately known what charges he faced. Messages for comment left by The Associated Press with the sheriff’s office were not immediately returned.

That’s it. We’ll see what happens from here. Still the reporter must let us all know where the “Facts” lie:

Zimmerman and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute in September just days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers, but police later said no charges were filed against either of them because of a lack of evidence.

Zimmerman has also been pulled over three times for traffic stops since his acquittal. He was ticketed for doing 60 mph in a 45 mph zone in Lake Mary in September and was given a warning by a state trooper along Interstate 95 for having a tag cover and windows that were too darkly tinted. He was also stopped near Dallas in July and was given a warning for speeding.

In 2005, Zimmerman had to take anger management courses after he was accused of attacking an undercover officer who was trying to arrest Zimmerman’s friend. In another incident, a girlfriend accused him of attacking her.

Oh what a criminal brute! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!!

Be interesting to see what the charges are. So far “Trumped up” is the only kind George has ever seen, but that means nothing going forward.

I wonder what a news report about you or I or any other average person would look like if given the Zimmerman Treatment. Let’s see I’ve had 3 or 4 speeding tickets over the past couple of years; police have been called to my home for domestic violence (not me – my son and daughter in law), and on.

Question stands — when should a person loose their rights; Guess we know where the media stands — the first time they make a non-politically correct mistake or crime. Eliot Spitzer — still good, Marion Barry; haven’t heard of him getting trashed by the media like Zimmerman did.

Yep Divorce can be ugly like that. My Uncle had to give his guns to my Grandmother to keep for a few years…and by “keep” I mean, they were stashed in her basement and he’d clean them every few months because his ex wife claimed he hit her. Now note he has a scar on his face from her nails and she has NOTHING…and their marriage got as ugly as it did because he’s a pacifist and didn’t complain when she did a bunch of criminal shit like check fraud and taking out credit cards in his name.

Thankfully its been almost over a decade since I’ve been picked up for speeding (all of them have been when I still had Maine plates on my car, and were when I was driving long distances fro my Marine Biology job) but yeah I’m a “Criminal” too in that sense.

Yeah, meanwhile REAL criminals like the above have been ignored because they aren’t the RIGHT kind of criminal. “Progressives” always get a pass!
