What’s the point of locking up criminals if you don’t actually lock them up?
A “dangerous” man being sought by police investigating the death of a man stabbed while protecting a neighbour, was a murderer on day release.
The beast was on a day release from prison, and decided to spend the time robbing people. When somebody stepped in he stabbed them to death.
This is why I’m in favor of the death penalty. People are the dangerous weapons, and when somebody is found to be so wanton and monstrous, we really don’t need to keep them around. This man did more damage with a single knife in one day, than I’ve done with HUNDREDS of guns in a lifetime!
Some ideas that would fix recidivism and the irredeemable.
End parole and supervised imprisonment idiocy and make them serve the whole term.
Kill one person…life imprisonment.
Kill two or more people…capital punishment.
Works for me.
One additional capital punishment requirement. Appeals have to be immediately filed and resolved so that execution occurs by the one year anniversary of the conviction. No more dying of old age on death row.
