Why do we NEED Amusement parks?
A German roller coaster maker is sending officials to a North Texas amusement park to inspect a ride after a woman fell to her death….Witnesses said the woman expressed concern about the Texas Giant roller coaster’s safety bar not completely engaging as the ride was starting. The coaster is touted as the tallest steel-hybrid roller coaster in the world.
“I’m sure there’s no safety bar that is broken,” Lindnar told the newspaper by phone Saturday night from Germany.
Lindnar said Gerstlauer has never had problems with car safety bars on any of the roughly 50 roller coasters it’s built around the world over the past 30 years.
Be interesting to hear how this happened. Six Flags is NOT your state fair with its rusty rides that get folded up and trucked from fairground to fairground.
Still why do we NEED to ride roller coasters? Isn’t the RISK too great? I mean if it SAVES JUST ONE LIFE!!!11!!
What the minds of mush that preach “Gun Death” don’t want to realize is that the world isn’t a safe place, and banning things doesn’t make it any safer, but it can make it a whole lot less fun.
Not JUST Roller Coasters, but Amusement Parks in General need to be Banned! Why, the White Water Rafting Ride up here at Cedar Point Flipped over and nearly DROWNED a half-dozen people a few days back. And who can forget the Deadly Sea World Boat Show Tragedy from a few years back?
No, we must stop these Senseless Tragedies NOW! That’s why I purpose that that the Co-alition to Stop Amusement Park Violence be formed (CSAPV) ASAP!
