That would make de-pooping the cloth MUCH harder! Quick removal is a MUST! 😉
There are available swaddling wraps that have velcro on them to snug the baby in nice and tight. My cousins and my friends (to whom I have given these, LOTS of these) all swear by them, because the little one can’t wriggle free, yet they’re still washable and very quick to remove by the parents.
Years ago we called them “Baby Burritos” for ours. sniff sniff
