If Standards are good, then double-standards are TWICE as good!
hree juveniles allegedly involved with the Aug. 16 shooting death of Australian college athlete Christopher Lane will not be charged with a hate crime, the Duncan, Okla., district attorney said Friday.

Christopher Lane, an Australian baseball player, was shot and killed while out for a jog in an Oklahoma neighborhood, police said.
“At this point, the evidence does not support the theory that Christopher Lane was targeted based upon his race or nationality,” said District Attorney Jason Hicks. “The evidence is insufficient to establish that race was the primary motive in the murder of Christopher Lane.”
Now the alleged hate crime evidence is in a twitter account (see it here), so proving ownership of the account is more effort than the DA feels it worth it, given the severity of the charge compared to murder.
Still is this sentiment so uncommon in America today? Following the George Zimmerman trial there was SO much hate against Zimmerman not because of evidence, but because he was “White”. Hell he’s still referred to as a “White Hispanic” despite his skin tone being in the approximate shade of Colin Powell.
Racism is strong in America…but its the “Progressive” kind of Racism!
Weird. Bush was savaged because a couple of animals were “just” getting the death penalty and not having “hate crime” tacked onto their charges, but in this case the people who were outraged by that lack seem to be just as motivated to ignore it.
