Quote of the Day: Joan Peterson

Saw this and had to show the world:

Joan Big Lie

Here’s Joan’s version of the “Big Lie”, since Manchin-Toomey was presented the anti-rights lobby has been pushing hard about background checks and wanting to ban all private sales.

Its still unknown where the LA Airport shooter got his Mini-14 rifle (Photo here, hard to tell the appointments, but you can clearly see the barrel and barrel shroud which makes it VERY distinctly a Mini-14. I can’t tell if it has a collapsible stock and pistol grip, or the standard fixed stock, but the magazine looks like the Ruger 20 round box…might be pinned to 10), but he’s from New Jersey, and living in California at the time of the crime, so no matter what he was breaking a ton of laws before he even brandished the rifle.

Still remember, anti-rights people like Joan think that if we made guns as illegal as murder, nobody would be murdered with guns!

But Joan is speculating that he went to a neighboring gun-friendly state to buy his rifle since you can buy a rifle “No Questions Asked” at a “Gun Show” there.

She seems to forget GCA 68 where it is a federal crime for a private citizen to sell a firearm to a resident of another state.

Hey but just because this gun may have been illegally acquired doesn’t mean one more law that is almost identical to the one she speculates was broken wouldn’t have stopped all of this!

Better picture of the rifle there, story is probably idiotic though, was just looking for a copy of that picture.

It’s an AR-15, the front sight is a flip up gas block type that appears to be bare metal and the rear sight appears to be folded, I think that’s why it looked somewhat not ARish in the other picture.
Also, the carbine length gas system on a 16″ barrel makes it looks more like a mini-14 or other old style sporting rifle.
