Some say shooting with a sling is a Lost Art.
Hard to say its lost with so many people doing good work to teach its use!
I learned how to first shoot a rifle with a sling, and I never went back.

I have one of those, the rifle and Galco’s version of the Ching Sling. Loads of fun to shoot and so much easier to use than the old style hook and keeper slings of my yoot.

I swear by a sling on rifles! They’re amazing for stability. There are two fundamentals that will transform every shooter… muscle relaxation and skeletal support. When you are in a good shooting position, then your muscles aren’t hardly being used. Your skeleton is supporting yourself and the gun. A sling allows you to do this. A proper sling and you can stand (or kneel, sit, lie prone) with your gun indefinitely.
