I would argue that they Eagles did nothing good, but I will note that ‘Ol 55 is indeed Tom Wait’s most covered song. The Sarah McLachlan cover.
A great song! I’m not an Eagles hater by any stretch of the imagination but Tom’s original version is still the best.
