No, sadly I mean episiotomy. I assumed the epidural went without saying. 🙂
When the doctor turns to you and asks “Does she want an episiotomy?”, it’s best to have a prepared answer. Without prior preparation you are left speechless, and can only say “Ummm…I thought you were the doctor?”
Trust me, the doctor will be asking Mrs. Weer’d such questions. Which I doubt will be necessary, since she has undoubtedly had her birth plan in place FOREVAR.
Only thing I can add is this: Greco playpens and car seats rock. Carters clothing is the only ones where the sizes actually are what they say, and midnight feedings kinda suck but it’s good to do them since she will need the rest.
Oh, and Baby Einstein toys will survive a rambunctious two year olds best efforts to dismantle them, other toys – not so much.
Good luck and happy baby delivering… 🙂
Good luck, Weer’d family. Remember two things:
1) Pitocin is your friend.
2) If the doctor asks if you want an episiotomy, the answer is always “Yes!”
Episiotomy?! I hope you mean “epidural”! And you don’t always need one of those, either.
we have the epidural in. Let’s do this.
