Still Locked Down

Looks like most of Boston is shut down, as well as the surrounding cites.

I’m still at home waiting for the all-clear. There is some strong action at a home in Watertown that might be the suspect being cornered, but its all unconfirmed.

I’m safe here, and I hope all others in the Boston Metro are safe too.

I saw the latest press conference. The mayor made it sound like the lock down might last a couple of days. Stay safe, and keep your powder dry!

I hope not. Our animals have been cared for in at least a moderate way that will keep them healthy, but it will really muck up the works if this stays through the weekend.

Yeah, I hope they find this guy soon as well, but given that they have to move pretty slowly (due to the use of IEDs,) I wouldn’t count on it.

Guess those gun laws really kept you guys safe, huh?

Even worse, if they don’t get him before dark, his chances of slipping past the perimeter – and the risks to the officers searching for him and holding that perimeter – go up significantly. Plus they’re forecasting rain for Boston tonight, which makes things even more bad.

    Clean you guns, I guess.
