The Gun Shop Rule

There’s a rule about gun shops. EVERY time you set foot into a gun shop you should be prepared to buy a gun.

How many times have you gone into a shop for a box of ammo, or some cleaning solvent and walked out with a new gun.

Well what happens when you walk into a gunshop KNOWING you’ll be buying a gun?

Well maybe TWO guns will come home with you.

When I walk into a gun shop, none ever follow me home…for 10 days. 🙁

    Stupid California.

    Do what I do.

    Go single income.

Make sure that job is about 32% underemployed.

Get a kid who has ongoing expensive medical needs, such as a prescription to an on-patent brand name drug.

Now you’re too broke to drive to the gun shop, let alone buy a gun!

    Everybody wins!

    Wait…

    😉

I know, right? For me, its a strange love of pre WW2 pocket autos AND a love of old S&W service revolvers that does me in.
However, I still really regret the one visit I came thiiiis close to buying an old pre Model 14 and didn’t.

Or it can happen that Thot is hoping to buy a gun, but can’t find what he wants, and he digs up one that I fall in love with instead. And it follows me home.

I’ve lost count of how many times that’s happened. He’s threatening to no longer take me to the gun store with him! 😮
