As many of you have heard there have been multiple bombs detonated in Boston today, unknown who did this but it looks really bad.
Mrs. Weer’d is out of town for the next few days, so she’s safe where she is. I was in Boston when it happened, but thankfully nowhere near the blast site. It was a bit nerve racking getting home, but I’m here, and I’m going to lay low for the night.
I’ve also been in touch with Jay, Christina, and the Sci-Fi family, and they’re all safe as well.
I’ll be keeping my ear to the news on this.

Always good to hear that people are OK. It’s tempting to stay glued to news reports but in reality so much of what we will hear for a while will be incorrect – “news” sent out because reporters don’t really have info.
