Zo on Illegal Immigration

Overall I agree with his points. The solution to Illegal immigration is not mass deportation, but prosecution of those who knowingly hire illegals, and now allowing people in the country illegally into the public assistance coffers. Securing the boarder is good too, but frankly there is too much space, and too much ingenuity to get around any security we have, we need to make the payoff not as big.

Also Zo notes that illegal immigrants are paying taxes, otherwise the Democrats wouldn’t support them. I call BS. Why do you think the “Progressives” want every American to show ID when buying a gun or ammunition, and want a SEPARATE and more expensive license simply to bear those arms. (Also note that there’s a lot of talk of requiring permits for simply owning certain “Non Sporting” arms, or putting semi-auto rifles on the NFA requiring a $200 tax stamp plus paperwork!) Yet they stridently oppose showing something as ubiquitous and inexpensive as a state ID to prove legal voting status at the polls.

No the Democrats are pro-illegal aliens because they get elected illegally from the votes of illegals paid for with public tax monies!

Once the jobs hiring illegals becomes so expensive due to fines and prison time (and we don’t need much prison for this stuff…put a roofer who hires only illegals because he can pay them below minimum wadge and not insure them, away for 3 months, and he’ll feel the pinch harder than any gang-banger who does 5 years), and we make sure that all people receiving public assistance are both legal, and playing by the rules, all we’ll have left is the gang population.

Take recreational drugs out of the hands of the gangs and into the hands of legal, tax-paying vendors, and that little racket dries up too. Deportation suddenly becomes a rarity.

Speaking of illegals, here’s a local story with national significance:

Mr Obama, 68, is the half-brother of the president’s late father. He has lived in the US illegally since arriving from Kenya as a teenager for school.

The date of the hearing was announced on Wednesday.

His status emerged after his 2011 drunken driving arrest in Framingham, Massachusetts.

When he was arrested, he told police he would “call the White House”, before being charged with drink-driving.

A judge continued that case for a year without a finding after Mr Obama acknowledged prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him.

Yeah that’s just one story, it must be a coincidence:

He is the brother of the president’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango, an illegal migrant who won the right to stay in the US.

Zeituni has been living in public housing for decades as an illegal alien, and fails to disclose who’s paying for her lawyer. Odd that our president who’s independently wealthy from his book sales, won’t simply pony up the funds for a modest private apartment for his own aunt, tho it looks like he will pay huge sums to get a lawyer to work on a dubious “Political Asylum” case with a peaceful nation like Kenya.

The fruit is rotten to the core!

Maybe the President doesn’t feel any “familial” loyalty to them…..

    for..whatever reason….

    Just sayin’….

I’d be fine if he was one way or the other to them. Also given that his Dad abandoned him and his mom, and was continuously married to his wife in Kenya durring his entire relationship and bigamist marriage to Stanley Dunham.

Still, while there has been no direct connection, it looks like Barry has been slinging attorney fees, and putting his weight on ICE to keep these leeches in the state.

All I have to say is move these people into sustainable housing, or into the White House with his family (note that Michelle’s Mom is living there Rent-free too, and I have zero issue for that…its a big fucking house, pack it to the brim!), or cut these leeches loose and send them back to Kenya where they aren’t on the public dole, and they’re out of his hair and sight!

I have a few Relatives that I’d be willing to PAY to get them shipped to another continent if I thought there were legal grounds!

I’ve always been a fan of trying the “Disneyland” approach to illegal immigration. Picture this: When Disneyland finds that there are too many people admitted for the park to handle, they close the rides and attractions, and people leave on their own.

It’s simple: if you were born here, whether or not you have a valid-and-current state-issued ID, you’ll have a birth certificate and the Social Security Administration can look you up. If you’re a legal immigrant, you’ll have a green card (and probably some sort of state-issued ID; they’re generally needed to find work anyway). If an applicant can’t demonstrate that they’re here legally – within reason; no sense making the requirements so strict that legitimate claims are denied – then no free ice cream.

      Exactly my thought!

In Maine we have huge refuge populations of Somalis. As a matter of fact my last apartment in Portland there were only about 3 groups of white people on the street. Everybody else was black, and spoke Arabic (or whatever the Somali dialect of it is called). Super nice people too, I enjoyed my time there, and they sold cheap spices at the Halal market!

Still I wondered why a bunch of people for equatorial Africa would pick a state as cold and snowy as Maine. I’d have to imagine that climate transition would be very hard. The answer, it was one of the easiest states to get a wealth of public aid, so they moved there in droves.

They probably would have been more at home in the South West, and just as safe from the hell they escaped, but free stuff makes people do a lot of things. Of course the state of Maine is broke, and has no jobs (hence why I’m typing this from Massachusetts) so a lot of good that’s doing.
