CSGV Playing Fast and Loose

Two interesting videos from CSGV:

The repeated line:

You didn’t buy the gun. You didn’t pull the trigger. But if you’ve voted for politicians that refuse to support common sense gun laws, you’ve helped to facilitate mass shootings in America.

First up, I bought guns, I buy ammo, I pull triggers, I’ve never killed or harmed a human being.

Second the places they sensationalize were victim disarmament zones, and all evidence points that the killers targeted these areas for EXACTLY that reason.

Third, the laws proposed would not have stopped this, just like the laws against murder, or the many other laws the shooters violated while committing their crimes, didn’t stop them.

Who has blood on their hands?

PS: Notice that ratings and comments are disabled in the videos. I wonder why.

Well that was their budget for the year.

How many gun control bills has President Obama helped introduce, pass and sign?

So every politician, Dem or Rep, that hasn’t voted to restrict our rights part of the problem (including President Obama) and everyone who voted for them is guilty — wonder who the folks at CSGV voted for?

So that right to vote thing is pretty deadly after all. We should have more common sense voting restrictions then.

“Youth” and “Diner” are extremely weak PSAs. Trust me on this.

“You didn’t buy the bottle. You didn’t turn the key. But you voted for politicians who refused to pass a common-sense ban on alchohol, so…”

“You didn’t buy the computer. You didn’t do the search. You didn’t buy the ingredients, but you voted for politicians who refused to pass common-sense restrictions on internet use, so…”

How many other variations can you come up with?

Blaming other people for acts committed by criminals? At least CSGV is consistent. That strategy may backfire when the target audiences realize that they are NOT to blame for mass shootings and neither are the millions of legal gun owners.
