“Gun Death” Car Fire

Guns are different from cars because they are different!

A New York man burned to death in a freak car fire on Tuesday after the car he was a passenger in hit a piece of metal on the road and ruptured the SUV’s gas tank which caused a huge explosion.

Pretty crazy! But we can’t call for the ban of cars because “Progressives” own cars! We must ban guns instead!

I’ll stick my neck out with some no-filters brainstorming. Motor vehicle population is about 250 million. Accidental fatalities about 30-some thousand. Firearms population about 250-300 million. Intentional fatalities maybe 7-30 thousand.

I’m not sure I’m getting at anything at all. But, if firearms induce intentional fatalities unmediated by human moral agency, which, I think, is what the anti-gunners hold to, we ought to be seeing a whole lot more gun deaths than we actually do.

BTW-I’m not being smart-alecky here. I really don’t know if, maybe, we shouldn’t be asking ourselves why we have so few gun deaths.
