Images of the Antis: Just Stupid

Ok first just a short-sighted bit:

Ahh that whole “Weapons of War!” canard! Nice! Yep because the rifles we have are EXACTLY the same as the military is carrying in the middle-east! Or maybe they’re saying the US is a War zone? Well except for the War on Drugs, and the War on Poverty, and the “War on Women”, no.

Also while you’ll hear from idiot military Brass who probably can just barely qualify with their issue arms about how we need more gun control, I think most vets not only A) want an AR-15 and a pistol close at hand just because they’re comfortable with weapons and B) Know the difference between an AR-15 and an M4 Carbine. They aren’t scared of guns, they know its just a tool, and it’s the man behind the gun that is the thing that needs to be looked at.

Next is this childish scribble:

Man just when I’d thought I’d seen all the caricatures that made Florida look like a penis, then there’s this! And the Pan-Handle appears to be the HOG end here.

Now the tag at the bottom is #remembertrayvon who was justifiably shot. Given that I assume the other cases were also ruled by police or a court of law (tho it wouldn’t surprise me if murder cases that are pending trial were also counted, because if you’re anti-gun you can’t play fair!) these were JUSTIFIABLE homicides. These are people trying to kill others who got killed in self defense.

If they so happened to be 16 and 17 year old career criminals like Trayvon Martin, that doesn’t bother me any more than if they’re in their 30s.

Remember anti-gun people are also anti self-defense.

“Children”, a term that usually encompasses humans from zero to 19 years of age but they are careful not to mention that.

Go to http://www.tampabay.com/stand-your-ground-law/fatal-cases and check the Tampa Bay “Study” on SYG.
They include cases in which the defendant claimed SYG even if it did not apply or was not granted. Sherdavia Jenkins was a victim of 2 dopers shooting each other and missing everybody but the poor girl. They both claimed SYG and even the most half drunk pre-law student could see it did not apply. But since it was the first time right after the enactment of SYG in Florida, the media went bonkers and predicted that one or maybe even both defendants were going free because of the “evil” law.
    Both are serving hard time.

Yep, never letting truth get in the way of the agenda… And if they say the lies long enough, they think people will believe them!

Since 9/11/2001, I believe about 2 million or so people volunteered to serve in the U.S. Military. A large number of them served in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. I recall that after the results of the 2012 Election cam in, there was the rush to get Guns and Ammo. It was so bad, that in March, 2013, while helping a friend work a Local Gun Show, another friend of ours came to the table and showed us the new AR he just picked up. Nothing special, just an MForgery. But he was happy to get it for $1,500! When I asked why he spent so much, he replied “Oh, this was the Cheapest One I could find that came closest to what I carried in Iraq.”

Today, I can get Used MForgerys from my Favorite Gun Store for under $600, and Ammo is Cheap. But I honestly believe that a sizable amount of the Gun Panic was caused by this Generation of Vets who wanted what they were used to using, “Just in Case.”

Which certain Leftie Politicians should keep in mind as they try to advance their Communist Manifesto.

I have a VERY left-wing relative who is a West Point Grad. He’s even amiable to some gun control, but despite his heavy “Progressive” ties that’s one platform he has his doubts about. Still he openly told me if he took up hunting or wanted an HD gun, he’d go with an AR of some sort for that exact reason. It’s the gun he carried in war, it’s the gun he was drilled on how to shoot and how to maintain. Like many military members he’s not much of a gunnie, so I’m sure he knows little of any other types of guns, but an AR he knows, so that’s the gun he’d want.

Same reason why I carry a 1911. It was the first gun I really enjoyed shooting, so every subsequent trip to the range I made in my pre-gun-owning days I always tried to make sure there was at least one 1911 for me to shoot. It was also the first gun I ever bought.

Because of that I’m more comfortable with a 1911 than any other gun, so that’s the gun I want by my side when things get bad.

I’d like to see that first one re-written to read, “Hey, sounds like we should be back in the States fighting for the Constitution, instead of here fighting for…say, why are we here, again?”

That’s really “134 ‘lawful killings of assailants by citizens who successfully asserted a Stand Your Ground defense’ in Florida”, right? Is there a problem?
