Life and Art

Mike at ENDO has a neat video up on a new sighting system.

Neat system. Tho seems a bit like a solution in search of a problem. If you can line up the sights to designate the target, but NOT hit the target, maybe you need to do a little more dry-fire work, and log some range time, rather then blow your cash on a computerized wiz-bang.

Still all I could think of was this:

What I love best about this scene is that’s the ONLY time you see the Zorg Replay(tm) in action. Most movies if they set up a scene like that, they tie it into the plot.

Chekhov was wrong!

    Weer’d,

I think you missed the boat on this system. First and foremost I can see this as a great aid for people with disabilities or age related infirmities that make holding on target a challenge.

Second, it could and would be a great training tool to help people understand when to take a shot or not.
