Demolition Man

When we bought our house the home inspector told us our deck was a poorly done DIY job, and we shouldn’t use it to extremes lest it might collapse.

We talked about various jobs to rehab it to a more usable space, when finally we realized that we didn’t NEED a deck at all. Sometime this summer (no date has been set with the contractor) we’ll be putting a Patio in its place, and the deck will be gone.

Decided to take the day off from work and start tearing it down today. Having a Demo-Party tomorrow, but I thought I’d start today just so I could take my time and not feel under the gun, or pressured to work in bad weather, or if I’m under the weather.

Moral of this story, its fun to take shit apart that you aren’t going to put back together! 😀
