So I’m home, and soon to go to bed. Today was a slow day for us, and not a lot of fun for anybody. The In-laws have headed to their respective houses because of the pending storm, and Mrs. Weer’d was feeling crummy and tired all day. She’s now on some nausea patch so her stomach can be settled, her pain is doing much better today. Still she’s very tired and slept for the majority of the day. This meant that when the Occupational Therapy people showed up she wasn’t in the mood to show them how strong she is.
Too early for a discharge today, hopefully tomorrow will be time for her to go home.
I’m going to bed so I can get in early before traffic gets bad. Wish us luck that both her health and the weather will cooperate!

Sleep is the best way to ignore being in a hospital – hope she gets to ditch the place and get home tomorrow!
Best wishes to you both for physical (and mental) recovery in the days to come.
Good luck with the events tomorrow. Discharge day is always extra tough – I pray it goes well for both of you.
The weather will be a little wind and rain. Fine restin’ weather.
Best of luck, and hopefully the storm does not play too much havoc with everything!
Gee, I’d think it’d be OK to spend more than 24 hours in the hospital for Brain Surgery.
ObamaCare must be kicking in early …
Good to hear
Good luck for tomorrow! (or today by now 😉
Man, I have to say: you are both handling this WAY better than I would have.
Keeping you both in my thoughts these days.
Best of luck to you. Here’s hoping today is a good day.
Still keepin’ my fingers crossed and sayin’ prayers for you both here boss…
