Images of the Antis: Ironic

Ironic that I see the same issue, but from a different side:

Joan Stupid 2A

I see it as maybe the founders didn’t quite see how subversive the authoritarians would be, I mean the Bill of Rights was ratified some two generations before Karl Marx was born.

Really it should read “The Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms Shall not be infringed! Seriously we me ARMS, as in all ARMS, guns, knives, cannons, and grenades! Seariously idiots, you think we wrote the word ‘infringed’ for our fucking health?”

Honestly the real irony is anti-gun people giving lip service to the 2nd Amendment, but really despising it and wishing it was never penned.

Seriously, how many times have you heard an anti say “You want a gun, go join the military!”, implying that people in the military have ANY right to arms. Sorry, they don’t get to choose what arms they bear, when they bear it, and when they will have no access to arms at all.

The bottom line is when it comes to gun, the antis would like to freeze time in 1776…while exercising their 1st Amendment rights with cellphones across the world-wide web.

Then again, they’re only interested in the 1st Amendment when THEY’RE using it…call Obama a Muslim Terrorist, and you should be JAILED!

“Gun Death” Washing Machine

I did some laundry today…oddly this did NOT happen:

A father has been charged with capital murder in the death of his son who died after being inside their washing machine.

Authorities will not comment on whether **FATHER**, 28, put his son, **DEPARTED**, inside the washing machine or if the boy had climbed inside himself, but they did say it is a front loading machine that must be closed and switched on from the outside before starting a cycle.

Antis won’t call for banning washing machine because they HAVE washing machines, and can’t imagine stuffing their children into them for the purpose of murder. So yeah, let’s ban guns!!

“Gun Death” College Drinking

Many of us who have been to college have experienced this, but maybe not to this extent:

A 20-year-old Minnesota college student has died from hypothermia after she collapsed on the way home to her dorm after a night out drinking.

I remember walking about 4 miles across town in 40 below weather wearing no jacket but a few bottles of booze. Thankfully I survived, but if I had decided to take a little nap in that weather I would have died too. Thankfully I didn’t.

So let’s ban guns!!!

It’s Sunday! It’s The Gunblog Variety Cast

The guys are back from the NRA Annual Meeting, and those of us who weren’t there are back to our usual tricks. (BTW I’m especially amused by my segment this week…give it a listen!)

Show notes are here, Sean would like to remind all that if you were at the NRAAM you might have missed some of the back episodes which you can find here

It’s always a great show!

Quote of the Day: Thirdpower

Never thought of it this way:

So by Joan and Jason’s definition, you are now a ‘victim of gun violence’.

Joan’s sister was shot. She wasn’t anywhere near it when it happened, but she’s a “Victim of Gun Violence”.

Jason Kilgore of Ceasefire Oregon was at a mall when some dude who he barely knew was shot while he was shopping at the Mall.

Of course the post Thirdpower, I was pissed at Joan for declaring the Boston Marathon Bombing because there was some gunplay in the resulting manhunt after the bombing.

Hell in the same post, she even called the Oklahoma City Bombing “gun violence”:

And then, of course, we shouldn’t overlook the Oklahoma City bombing by gun extremist Timothy McVeigh on April 19, 1995 that killed 168 and injured 680. McVeigh was a gun rights extremist and militia member who was anti-government. In an interview with McVeigh years after the terror attack he admitted to the same rhetoric we hear from today’s gun rights extremists:

Yep, since he liked guns, his fertilizer bomb was “Gun Violence”.

Of course I could NEVER be a “Gun Violence Survivor” who stands for loser gun laws, because I’m the wrong type of dude!

Still their claims are meaningless, as are their goals.

“Gun Death” Shitty Husband

Look Folks, you want to do some off-label sexual business in your marriage, that’s awesome, but disclose it up front makes things a LOT cleaner:

A former Rotary Club president arranged to have his wife killed because his marriage was colliding with his desire to indulge in bondage and masochism with other women, a prosecutor told jurors Wednesday at the conclusion of a long trial that revealed a secret life in suburban Detroit.

Again, nothing wrong with all that sexy stuff, but a LOT wrong that he didn’t include his bride into the whole discussion.

And of course killing is wrong….but is it more wrong if it’s a “Gun Death”? In this case the hired killer strangled her…so it doesn’t count!

“Gun Death” Flower Pot

Oh Yeah!

Los Angeles television reporter has been charged with felony domestic violence after he allegedly seriously injured his wife by throwing a flower pot at her head, authorities said.

The pot struck the woman “full force,” an L.A. County district attorney’s spokesman told the Los Angeles Times.

She’ll live, but it seems that her hubby routinely settles domestic disputes in this fashion, so she’s lucky!

Still, we must keep in mind that only “Gun Death” should count.

Dear Joan, FUCK YOU!

This is just so damn insensitive! Joan has up a post called “Virginia Tech remembered – and other April shootings” where she says:

As poet T. S. Eliot wrote, “April is the cruelest month.” It’s true. It’s so disturbing that the month needs to be remembered for so many shootings:

…April 15, 2013 -The Boston Marathon bombing, of course, killed 3, injured many and caused terror to many. But it also did involve several shootings when one of the bombers shot and killed a police officer and the other suspect was shot and injured by law enforcement authorities after a long search that terrorized the Boston area for days.

There you have it! Straight up “Only Gun Deaths Count!” Yeah three people were killed in the bombing and HUNDREDS injured and severely maimed….but also one cop was shot, and the bombers themselves caught some lead! THAT’S THE IMPORTANT PART!

FUCK YOU! When the Bombing happened I was in Boston, and had to go to the train station to get home…the crowded train station.

All I could think was I was walking DIRECTLY to a good target, and I was unarmed because of work.

When the city was in a subsequent lockdown, I was at home armed, not just with a pistol, but a rifle as well.

Hey, but we can’t have guns, because they are ICKY! And the blood of the people of Boston is good enough to dance in for Joan.

I wonder if they dance in blood because they don’t have any of their own in their veins…

Images of the Antis: The Big Lie

Man this has got to be the WORST version of this stupid meme refuted here:

NRA Convention Guns

So yeah, Since the NRA Annual Meeting is NOT a gun show, and it is forbidden for exhibitors to sell firearms during the meeting, and there are over 70,000 people handling these guns over the weekend, the rules are for all exhibitors to render their display firearms inoperable (generally by removing the firing pins).

Of course it is implied that they BANNED GUNS…nope those are real guns, just without firing pins.

And of course this only applied to EXHIBIT firearms, with the exception of the North Carolina convention back in 2010, which was not NRA policy, but State Law (which has since changed) all NRA conventions have allowed people who are lawful to carry on the street outside of the convention to carry inside the exhibit hall.

Hell this photo was taken in the press office of the NRAAM the following year!.
2011-05-01_12-18-36_395

And of course there is nothing new about ANY of these rules…so the “Just banned” implies yet another lie.

THis is so wrong, it’s Fractal wrongness!

“Gun Death” Custody Dispute

Remember that story about the Foster parents being denied because they had carry permits?

I wonder if the “Progressive” minds who thought that up, thought about this!

car crash early Monday in Castaic that killed a father and his two children wasn’t an accident — it was the violent, tragic end to a custody dispute between a divorced couple, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said Tuesday.

Divorced Dad picks up his kids, decides he doesn’t want to give them back to Mommy…but knows he’ll go to jail for kidnapping…so he smashes into a truck and kills them all.

Doesn’t make a lick of sense to me, either. Still it wasn’t “Gun Control” so it doesn’t count!
