“Gun Death” Pliars and Bat

Wow!

A Bangor, Maine, woman on Friday was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the gruesome murder of her husband, whom she was convicted of killing with pliers and a baseball bat, officials said.

…Prosecutors said she used a plastic baseball bat, a razor, broken wood, metal towel racks and needle-nosed pliers in a jealous rage.

Wow, that’s no joke there!

Defense attorneys argued she suffered from mental health problems. She pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the charge but twice was found competent to stand trial.

I’m glad she’ll be put away for a long time.

Also did anybody else think of this?

Do you think that scene in Pulp Fiction would have been LESS gruesome if Marcellus Wallas used the shotgun rather than calling up his boys?

Yeah, why are we still talking “Gun Death”?

Scatology in SPACE!

Neat video!

Of course on Earth we do similar stuff, just we have this big environment to process the waste in very mundane ways.

Images of the Antis: Free Money!

“Progressives” don’t seem to understand economics at all:

Yep, if every minimum wage worker got paid $20 an hour they’d have a LOT more money. Only they never think WHY people pay low wages. No skills, no work history, no references, why should they get paid more.

Also what about people who make ABOVE the current minimum wage, but below whatever pie-in-the-sky pipe dream the “Progressives” dream up. They’re going to need raises too! Same goes for the people who suddenly are only working a few dollars more above minimum but have a long good work history and marketable skills.

Where does this money come from? The “Progressives” always seem to hate on CEOs and people making good money. Cut their pay! But it’s not like a CEO just sits in their corner office and counts money while eating caviar and browsing exotic cars on auction sights. They work DAMN hard, and have a lot of pressure in their jobs. Pay them less, and they’ll take their marketable skills elsewhere, or possibly they’re decide that it’s time to execute their retirement plans earlier than planned.

Where does the money REALLY come from? Layoffs! What happens when a person is laid off? They need to collect unemployment and food stamps.

Good job guys!

Really the solution to a low minimum wage comes from working hard, and being proactive in your job hunt! Work hard and you’ll get a raise. If your company doesn’t want to pay you for the skills you bring to the table…find somebody who does!

Say you live in a small town that only has a few job opportunities, and none of them appreciate your skills….MOVE!

You think I LIKE living in Massachusetts? No, but I can make good money here, and so can my wife. When I have lost my job in the past I quickly find new prospects easily! That’s why I live here.

Great Video on Israel and Palestine

Really I see the existence of the Palestinian movement can be described with one phrase: “Does Not Play Well With Others”.

King Classy

Judge violently assaults his wife:

A judge accused of biting and punching his wife as they drove through a suburb with their young daughters in the backseat has been charged with felonious assault.

Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Lance Mason was being held in Shaker Heights city jail. A judge ruled Monday that Mason could not post bond until after he has undergone a psychiatric evaluation because of threats to harm himself before his arrest in Cleveland on Saturday.

Mason’s wife, Aisha Mason, can be heard in a 911 recording telling a Shaker Heights police dispatcher: “My husband just beat me and threw me out of the car.” She also said that Mason drove off with their two daughters and she was afraid he would hurt them.

I wonder how this jerk ruled on cases with other violent monsters like himself. Much like how you soon find that anti-gun activists have criminal issues of their own and/or have been protecting violent criminals, I imagine that a judge like this doesn’t throw the book at a monster who did his own dark inner desires.

I’m Going To See if We Can Get These For the Lab!

Clear Mice!

The research team demonstrated a simple method for creating opaque organs, bodies, and human tissue without disrupting the cellular structure. The study was published in the July 31 edition of Cell Press. The finding could lead to a better understanding of brain-body interactions and more accurate clinical diagnoses.

“Although the idea of tissue clearing has been around for a century, to our knowledge, this is the first study to perform whole-body clearing, as opposed to first extracting and then clearing organs outside the adult body,” said senior study author Viviana Gradinaru of the California Institute of Technology.

I’ve done this with fish, and it took close to a month to make a fish the size of a jelly bean translucent. This seems much more viable for larger animals. Since we do surgery in the lab, I think this might be a very interesting way to get a very clear way of seeing how the intervention is working in the mouse.

Right now we use X-Rays, which allows the mouse to continue living. This procedure seems to be terminal, but the visuals seem MUCH more clear!

“Gun Death” $200

The “Gun Death” Cultists say you shouldn’t keep a gun for self defense because your stuff isn’t worth a life.

What if the monster attacking you thinks it is?

A Brooklyn mom allegedly murdered in a dispute over a measly $200 was stabbed 40 times in the chest before she was decapitated and dismembered.

The dispute was rent for a sub-standard apartment, and the $200 was worth it to this monster to kill her and cut her body apart.

Thank goodness New York has the SAFE act! It’s working! This is not a “Gun Death”!

Good Momma Under the Sea

Now this is kinda neat!

Scientists have observed a deep-sea octopus that brood its eggs for four and one half years-longer than any other known animal.

According to the researchers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), the female kept the eggs clean and guarded them from predators, representing an evolutionary balancing act between the benefits to the young octopuses of having plenty of time to develop within their eggs, and their mother’s ability to survive for years with little or no food.

Every few months for the last 25 years, a team of MBARI researchers led by Bruce Robison has performed surveys of deep-sea animals at a research site in the depths of Monterey Canyon and in May 2007, the researchers discovered a female octopus clinging to a rocky ledge just above the floor of the canyon, about 1,400 meters (4,600 feet) below the ocean surface. he octopus, a species known as Graneledone boreopacifica, had not been in this location during their previous dive at this site in April.

Over the next four and one-half years, the researchers dove at this same site 18 times. Each time, they found the same octopus, which they could identify by her distinctive scars, in the same place and as the years passed, her translucent eggs grew larger and the researchers could see young octopuses developing inside, while over the same period, the female gradually lost weight and her skin became loose and pale.

The researchers never saw the female leave her eggs or eat anything and it did not even show interest in small crabs and shrimp that crawled or swam by, as long as they did not bother her 160 eggs.

The last time the researchers saw the brooding octopus was in September 2011, but when they returned one month later, they found that the female was gone and the rock face octopus had occupied held the tattered remnants of empty egg capsules.

Most Octopi have devoted mothers, but still when the babies are born they are still very small, and vulnerable, and once they’re hatched, they’re on their own. These babies had to be a LOT bigger and stronger when they hatched, and 160 eggs is a good amount. Still in those 4.5 years, she wasn’t laying any more, so it balanced out!

Neat!

Imagages of the Antis: The Big Lie

They’re getting desperate:

First up, NOPE! Women are the fastest growing demographic for 2nd Amendment support, and much to Michael Bloomberg’s dismay, the big thing that has brought women into gun shops and concealed carry classes is what is best known as “Gun Culture 2.0”. Now I’m not saying that women don’t enjoy shooting ducks and deer, or poking holes in pieces of paper, busting clays, or doing action shooting, we’re getting a lot more women into those shootings too. Women are really getting into self defense, and defense of their family.

It’s REAL feminism. They don’t need to depend on men to keep them safe, or even better, depend on complete strangers that will show up like a knight in a faerie tale with their shield (badge) and their magic sword (gun) to protect them as a “Damsel in Distress”. They can shoot an attacker and call that cop to haul away the garbage.

Still there are some women who think that Michael Bloomberg’s actions are not threatening the 2nd Amendment. We call those women “Idiots”, and it doesn’t matter how many idiots support his bad ideas, it won’t make it a good idea!
