“Gun Death” Sledge Hammer

More Sledge Hammer deaths:

Just eight hours into 2014, San Antonio recorded its first homicide of the year when a disabled man was bludgeoned to death with a sledgehammer.

Brutal…but not a “Gun Death”

Images of the Antis: Straw Man

This one is pretty laughable:

First up, the general chatter was about gun bans and confiscation. Obama pushed gun bans in 2013, as well as “Universal Background Checks” that really only could lead to a much easier registration, and lawful gun owners doing benign sale of their lawfully held property to other lawful citizens being charged with federal felonies.

Also while it hasn’t happened on the Federal level there have been door-to-door confiscation.

It is true that gun makers (as well as ammo makers) have been doing VERY well in the last five years, but how does this make suckers? These people have valuable guns, as well as carry permits.

I haven’t bought many guns in the last 5 years, as my collection is very well populated. You see the target of this image is showing the big fear of anti-freedom “Progressives”. You see, gun ownership is fun, rewarding, and this new high gun ownership rate has resulted in lower crime in the entire country.

I can’t say that gun ownership has caused the drop for sure, but for sure I can say that gun ownership does NOT lead to higher crime, as is frequently touted as reasons for MORE gun control. This ownership also coincides with a massive spike in people not only keeping guns, but bearing them. Concealed and open carry has NOT lead to more crime, and it can be argued is making us safer.

Safer streets, more freedom, and fun and rewarding hobbies.

Meanwhile look at the fruitless years gun control has had, look at the wasted time. Hell just watch an interview with gun control advocates, do they look happy?

Who’s the sucker, again??

“Gun Death” Crazy!

This one is beyond Brutal!

A Connecticut man held in the brutal stabbing death of his mother has been placed on suicide watch after police said he confessed to the murder and showed no remorse.

Prosecutors allege REDACTED, 22, used a fire poker, buck knife and his hands to kill his mother, 45-year-old Margaret Rohner.

REDACTED was arrested Thursday after his father called 911 telling dispatchers “my son killed my ex-wife.” he allegedly cut open his mother’s abdomen and began removing organs, saying he was “looking for a baby.”

When police arrived REDACTED raised his hands and surrendered reportedly telling troopers he had a knife in his pocket and that he had used it to kill his mother, the New Haven Register reported.

The suspect allegedly told police he had begun planning to kill his mother on Thursday morning when he woke up. The New Haven Register reports Rankin told police he first tried to strangle her with his bare hands, and then stabbed her in the neck with a fire poker and buck knife.

REDACTED allegedly cut open his mother’s abdomen and began removing organs because “I wanted to see if there was a baby in her stomach.”

WTF? So brutal, but no guns used, so not a “Gun Death”. This is a prime example of the person, not the tool being the danger. Also those who constantly spout about “Gun Death” seem to think that making so mentally ill people can’t buy guns will make us safer. If they’re walking around, and they’re THIS dangerous, WE ARE NOT SAFE!

Another Racist Video

Man, this channel is just too much!

“Black people don’t get married”? Evidently this entire video is based on a crappy email forward. The point is overall stupid, and like most issues has NOTHING to do with race. I know lots of married blacks, I know lots of whites who don’t ever want to get married.

Still the take away is several of the black women interviewed essentially said they aren’t interested in marrying outside their race!

Can you imagine a video of whites talking about how they’d only marry other whites?

Seems like all these videos are just LOADED with racism by people looking down their nose at a world they perceive as racist against them!

Kid With Gun: Good And Bad

So CSGV is filling their drawers over this picture:

CSGV kid with gun

So the good: Teaching our youth to shoot. Eyes and Ears. Looks like a nice safe range to shoot at.

The Bad: I can’t tell what this gun is. If its a .22, then good, if its centerfire, it might be a bit much for him. Still his form is HORRIBLE, and this could lead to bad shooting, bad recoil control of even a mild gun, and injury.

Teach your newbies to lean into the gun. Leaning back is more comfortable for simply holding the gun and making a sight picture, but as soon as you introduce recoil you’re off balance. Also the BIG no-no here is the crossed thumbs. This kid is looking at a potential nasty gash when that slide comes back, and his thumb is right behind it. If it doesn’t cut him it means he’s gripping the gun too low, and again bad recoil control.

Teach them right the first time so they don’t have to go through the pain of bad form, and re-learning shooting skills.

The Devil in Film

This is a great video:

I would have bumped up the Devil in “The Passion of the Christ” for his creepy androgyny. Still I like the picks in this.

Oh and I LOVE Tom Wait’s portrayal of the Devil in The Black Rider:

I don’t believe in the Devil, or in Heaven or Hell. Still I love the polarity of it all for the sake of narrative.

What do y’all think?

“Gun Death” Kitchen Knife

Not a gun death:

A northern New Jersey teenager has appeared in court to face charges that he fatally stabbed his 20-year-old sister with a kitchen knife during an argument…A friend of the victim told the news station that Teia was looking to get away from the suspect who she described as “aggressive.”

“She wanted to live on campus next year to get away from his anger,” Jennifer O’Connor, a friend of Teia’s told NorthJersey.com. Teia was reportedly a junior at Dominican College but was living at home.

Unfortunately she didn’t get away soon enough. Also note that the murder weapon was a kitchen knife, a dangerous implement that is found in EVERY household. Yet we don’t see such deaths very often.

Its the person, not the tool!
