One of Their Best

Hilarious!

From a Bi-Partisan side, I keep hearing that Scott Brown thinks he’ll EVER win an election EVER again in his life. He won’t. No Republican will vote for somebody as unprincipled he is, and no Democrat will vote for a Republican, RINO or not, and I don’t see any “Independent” interested in his bizarre branding and track record of wanton dishonesty on the campaign trail.

“Gun Death” Doctor Stabbing

In Italy where defensive guns are banned.

Investigators in Italy say a patient stabbed his psychiatrist some 40 times, killing the woman during their appointment at a public health facility.

Police said the attacker, a man in his 40s with a history of drug and alcohol abuse and a criminal record for drug dealing, was subdued by a colleague of the 53-year-old doctor. She had been meeting privately with the patient Wednesday in Bari, a city in the southern region of Puglia.

Now take the SAME situation in anti-gun, but still (delectably America) Massachusetts.

A patient in a psychiatric center near the Massachusetts General Hospital stabbed his doctor this afternoon before being shot dead by an off-duty security guard, police said.

Now the “Security Guard” was carrying his gun no differently than you or I, and when a doctor was nearly stabbed to death in front of him, he shot the bastard in the head and the doctor lived.

Now in this story there was a “Gun Death”. Which do you think is the better outcome? And why do you think anti-rights goons focus on “Gun Death”?

More Bullshit

Ok I’m just going to toss a flag on this one:

The Washington Navy Yard gunman Aaron Alexis played violent video games including Call of Duty for up to 16 hours at a time and friends believe it could have pushed him towards becoming a mass murderer.

BULLSHIT! Back over a decade ago, I was a young man with a LOT more free time than I have now (which as you might be able to tell from my lack of posts, and pregnant wife is almost none) I was a fairly hardcore gamer. Also the games I like are VIOLENT. Be it fantasy RPGs where you hack things to death with a sword, or modern shooters where you put virtual lead into virtual tangos, or Sci-Fi where various ray or energy weapons shoot aliens and other such monsters.

I like it, its fun and exciting, and its a good escape from my VERY non-violent life.

Still, I may have logged 16 hours in one day, but I’m still made of meat, and I need to use the toilet and eat food and take in fluids.

Even if you factor in that the “16 hours at a time” are not continuous, why is it so many gamers aren’t killers? Further, video games didn’t reach mainstream until the 1970s, and “Violet” games using the loosest definition didn’t make the scene until the 1980s. Was the latter part of the 20th Century the start of mass violence?

Give it up, nannies!

Blood Dancing: Itching For It

So I think we all know by now that the MSM got just about everything wrong on the Washington Navy Yard shooting, with the exception of the actual location of the bodies.

This big thing is the weapons used. CSGV wants facts be damned, for the guns used to be high-capacity “assault” weapons for them to push bans on. So much that they wrote this little presser.

He traveled to a state with weak gun laws to obtain a firearm(s). And he is reported to have employed the weapon that has now become the choice tool of cop killers, mass murderers, and insurrectionists nationwide—the AR-15 semiautomatic assault rifle….Our message to federal and state legislators: Strengthen and expand background checks for gun purchases and ban the military-style assault rifles and high-capacity ammunition magazines so frequently used by mass killers. And let us make it clear to them that if they continue to put our loved ones in the line of fire we will do everything in our power to end their political careers.

Well that’s a big load right there! First up, the guns used by all the mass-killers were bought legally through background checks, and as far as I can tell NOTHING proposed by CSGV or any other member of the anti-right lobby would have changed, or prevented that. Further the events in Colorado (and this is just the tip of the iceberg) shows how hollow those threats are, especially for such a poorly staffed and funded group of marginalized lunatics that are CSGV.

Still the big news story for the day is there was NO AR-15. As far as I’ve heard (but still the news is hazy), the killer used a Remington 870 pump-action shotgun, and obtained 9mm pistols from guards killed by this shotgun.

There was no, AR-15, and that is an inconvenient truth for the flunkies at CSGV….but facts be damned! Remember the words from the playbook!

#3:DON’T ASSUME THE FACTS – AND DON’T WAIT FOR THEM

This isn’t just an obscure publication, this is their marching orders!

Also from their presser:

There is no other democracy on the face of the earth in which killers like Seung Hui-Cho, Jared Loughner, James Holmes, Wade Michael Page and Aaron Alexis would have legal access to any type of firearms, much less battlefield weapons. There is no other free society that allows the gun lobby to write its own laws.

Could anybody point to a battlefield where an AR-15 is the weapon of war? Yeah, well when the truth doesn’t work, LIE!

Since CSGV will likely wise up to their stupidity, I took the initiative to save their page to Weerdworld.com! Find it here!

Images of the Anits: Blood Dancing

Just found this image from the usual suspects:

I’m deeply saddened by the shooting in the Washington Navy Yard, and my heart goes out to all affected. I’m also deeply saddened by how much was gotten wrong by the media, and how they’re still going to be selling us baseless hype.

I suspect we’ll see this image again and again, and even trot it out for shootings like the one at the Empire State Building, where the criminal shot one person, and the police did the real body count.

They get excited and charged by this, while we are only saddened and enraged.

You see this shooting was in the heart of Utopia. DC is still the gun control Capital of America. The Navy Yard is further still a “Gun Free Zone”, yet we have 12 dead innocents, more wounded, and countless people who will suffer serious emotional wounds from being a fish in a barrel.

…And now I must go to work in my own Gun Free Zone…how do you think that makes me feel?

**PS** I think I should add that there is the same side for the side of good. There have been ZERO days since a life has been saved with a lawfully carried gun. And the sign says that EVERY DAY.

“Gun Death” Gun Free Zone

If this was a gun attack we’d be hearing about it nationally for WEEKS, but it wasn’t!

One student was killed and three others injured in what police said may have been a gang-related stabbing early on Wednesday at a suburban high school north of Houston.

Three other students considered “persons of interest” were detained for questioning after the melee, Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said.

“There has been some information that this may have been gang related,” Garcia said.

Imagine if one of these gang members had a stolen pistol and killed one and wounded two. Not hard to imagine, but imagine the press response to this.

Yeah, only “Gun Death” appears to count. Why?

Pointless Laws

Sometimes Joan makes it too easy. If you want to see a prime example of her disconnect with reality look no further:

Here is why we need to expand our gun background check system. A Texas man was convicted of selling guns without a license in the state of California. And there’s more. From the article:

“It’s the gun show loophole. In the state of Texas. It was how Zeta drug lord Miguel Angel Trevino Morales got the assault rifle the Mexican authorities found when they arrested him…. It was in California that he was convicted of selling weapons without a license. He was sentenced to four years in prison.

In Texas, Rodriquez posed as a private seller at the gun shows. It was a loophole he could use to sell the guns without first conducting a background check.

Not much of a “Loophole” given that both of these fine gentleman are going to the clink. I’m curious to think what Joan thinks her pet law will do. These guys were committing serious crimes and are going away for a LONG time. Does Joan think an extra year tacked onto their sentences will make a difference? Does she think that minor risk added to the major legal risks taken would be enough to get criminals to lose their nerve?

You see you can ban private sales…like they do in Massachusetts, but you’ll still have Private Sellers! The law does nothing unless you catch them, and let’s face it, even without this law, when you catch them you can STILL arrest them.

Still Joan has been known to think that illegal acts are legal JUST BECAUSE!

She doubles down with some straight up lies:

For losing power is threatening to a lot of folks. Thus, the uncompromising and forceful arguments against doing anything to stop the shootings. The truth of the matter is that there will be no gun confiscation if the Brady background check system, already in place now since 1994, is expanded to private sellers. There has not been wide spread confiscation as a result of buying a gun at a Federally Licensed Dealer where background checks are required. There has not been confiscation of guns in the states that have passed expanded background checks. These are red herrings designed to kill any chance of moving forward with measures to keep us safer.

First we have the little bit about these laws and states actually confiscating guns. What do you think happens so so-called “Assault Weapons” after the owner dies under the SAFE Act? Then there are the list of door-to-door confiscations of various guns, and how again has the Brady Law made us safer? How many people have been arrested for lying on the background check form? How many arrested for attempting to illegally buy a gun? Hell how many people were actually STOPPED by the denials they trot out to show how “Effective” their little background check laws are?

And of course when it comes to confiscation, Joan is indeed a HUGE fan.

Oh and a little more:

If individual rights always trump the common right to be safe, we wouldn’t have any laws would we? Why do we pass laws that require seat belts and airbags in cars? Surely that violates an individual right to ride in a car any way you want. It is because of the common good that keeps us all safer and keeps our children and loved ones from being killed in accidents. Why speed limit laws? What if we allowed people to drive any way they wanted without constraints? So no traffic lights, no stop signs, no one way streets, no driver’s licenses, no car registration or insurance? What about requiring background checks on anyone who works with our children? Good idea? What about requiring background checks on people who work with other people’s money? Good idea? What about mandatory education laws that make sure all of our children attend school or are home schooled while following some state regulations? What about requiring our teachers, doctors and other professionals to upgrade their skills so we know they can address our health and educational needs? What about making sure our roads and bridges are safe? What about making sure our children’s toys are safe? What about making sure that new buildings are inspected for building or fire code violations? What about licensing building contractors, plumbers and electricians? What about requiring smokers to go outside of public buildings if they want to light up? Why pass those laws? Don’t those people have a right to smoke if they want to?

Well because Individual rights exist, and “Common rights” don’t. Further I love all this super authoritarian bullshit here. Most of this crap is just government graft taking a piece of legal business while they sit and do nothing. Also this whole traffic law analogy is paper-thin. I carry a gun, depending on what state I’m in, I carry a gun without a permit, sometimes concealed, sometimes open. NEVER can I threaten somebody with my gun, unless they first threaten me, and threaten me with grave bodily harm. I can’t go shooting willy-nilly with my gun. If my rounds aren’t being stopped by a berm, and they’re getting near people, I get to go to jail. We have all sorts of cool laws like speed limits, and stop signs already, and like your gun traffickers we can arrest people for violating them already without any more stupid laws.

Further some things are just bullshit, watch this great video:

Look at that, a modified corvette with the airbag REMOVED! And its INSPECTED! Further most states DON’T inspect autos, so that point is moot.

Hey let’s close on a high-note!

We need a serious discussion about what a society requires in order to be safe and meet the basic needs of those who live in our communities.

Liar!

“Gun Death” Value of Life

Wow!

Police say a Philadelphia cabdriver has been stabbed 11 times by a pair of riders who stole $205 from him….The cabbie flagged down police and was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for wounds to his head, arm, chest, hand and neck.

The police spokeswoman says the wounds are superficial and the victim is in stable condition.

Thankfully he survived, still 11 stab wounds, likely it was dumb luck that he survived.

The antis who are so concerned about “Gun Death” also are against self defense with guns, often saying “Nothing you have is worth killing for”, but in this case Two-Hundred bucks was worth it for TWO men to attempt to kill another over. TWO men, that makes it only One Hundred if these jerks split the take!

Sorry, but I’m not killing a criminal over the $200 in the till that doesn’t even belong to me, I’m killing to protect MY LIFE, which to me is PRICELESS!
