Well I just got BACK from the range. Also for the duration of my trip Baby LaWeer’da stayed safely inside mom without incident.
I’ll say I am VERY impressed with the pair of Ruger LCRs I got. The LCR .22 LR is All that I had hoped for and expected. The LCR .357 Surpassed all expectations! I don’t have time to write a full review, but I’ll say when it comes to sending Full-Power .357 Magnum rounds down range from a gun small enough, and light enough to carry in your pocket the LCR .357 Might be the best game in town. When you factor in price It may be the ONLY game in town. I didn’t plan to shoot more than a few wheels of .357 Magnum out of it…and I just kept loading the wheel up with full-house loads.
Even let a guy at the range give it a go and the standard “OW!!!” reaction with S&W Airweight .357 Magnums didn’t happen. I’ll certainly need to pack in a LOT of .357 Loads for the Blog Shoot in a few weeks for those who think I’m full of shit.
Ok so a full review later. Oh and just for Bob more than anybody else, here’s some good dubstep I was listening to on the way to the range!

Boston police said a pregnant woman was stabbed while walking to her boyfriend’s house early Saturday morning.
Police said the woman was on her cell phone with her boyfriend when she was approached by a man who told her to “run (her) pockets” at about 2:15 a.m. Police said the woman refused to empty her pockets and was stabbed twice in the arm.
The woman told police she was six months pregnant and was taken to Boston Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Remember even an unborn baby isn’t really a person, so they’re not worth protecting! Gun Free Zones keep us safe!
Not a “Gun Death”!
George Zimmerman is not guilty, but now the feds are attempting to find something ANYTHING in a case where Zimmerman should have never been charged with any crime. This article makes that crap even worse.
Following the news that the Department of Justice has ordered prosecutors in the George Zimmerman case to preserve all evidence, including the firearm he used to shoot and kill Florida teen Trayvon Martin, a Florida gun shop has stepped up to offer Zimmerman a free gun. A letter was sent to Zimmermanâs attorney, from the Volusia County gun store, Pompano Pats. The letter reads:
Upon receiving your confirmation that he is well within his legal rights to concealed carry, our company would like to offer Mr. Zimmerman a free firearm. We currently have the same model in stock, or he could (choose) another weapon suitable for concealed carry.â
The letter goes on to say âWe have read numerous reports of death threats against your client and believe no good would come from harming him.â Keeping that in mind, and keeping in mind that Zimmerman has already killed once, based on what many believe was nothing outside of his own fear of minorities, and his own paranoid perceptions which led him to feel âthreatenedâ, what is to now prevent him from killing another innocent person or more than one? Since Florida Stand Your Ground Law allows you to shoot another person based solely on whether or not you âfelt threatenedâ it seems likely that Zimmerman will kill again.
Again, guilty of NO Crimes, not even any assault charges or violence. He has one dismissed case of “Assaulting an Officer” for laying his hands on a police officer who failed to identify himself as such. He also had a messy breakup with his fiancee where restraining orders were filed, then dismissed.
He shot a teenager who was beating the holy hell out of him, and shot him while he was being pummeled on the ground with Martin on top of him. Yeah, Zimmerman is a meat-eating serial killer!
Still good on the gun shop for offering him a free piece. I hope they talk him into something higher-end than the Kel-Tec PF9 he was carrying. As you can see from the video, the PF9 is a serviceable gun, but frankly it can’t compete with the guns in a higher price bracket. Maybe a Glock26, a S&W M&P9c, or a Kahr CW9 or CM9 would be a better choice if price is off the table.

Yeah, whites are TOTALLY different than blacks! And of COURSE Trayvon Martin was just out walking with some snacks! ALL LIES! Martin was shot after he beat up a stranger who was watching him because he was trespassing and acting strange. The only injuries on Trayvon Martin were injuries to his knuckles, and the bullet hole in his chest. Meanwhile Zimmerman had a broken nose, and many injuries to the back of his head. Also eyewitness reports, as well as forensic evidence place Martin on top of Zimmerman at the time of him being shot, and raining blows down on his face and head.
Can you tell me with a straight face that if Martin was the son of STEVE MARTIN rather than Tracy Martin, that Zimmerman would have acted ANY differently?
Now this:
Hold the phone? According to the defense, Trayvon Martin uttered a racial slur shortly before he began beating on Zimmerman, and Rachel Jeantel is claiming that Martin attacked Zimmerman because he suspected he might be gay!
Going by the Prosecution’s “Star Witness” if Zimmerman offered Martin a ride, he might have attacked Zimmerman because of gay cruising stereotypes!
Martin was NOT an angel. He had a violent and criminal past, and there is indisputable evidence that he was assaulting a perfect stranger whom he had already evaded, and his friend has admitted that he had hate for whites, and homosexuals briefly before his death.
This is NOT the person you want in your house or your car. This is not the type of person you want to be friends with. Stop trying to make the worst of society appear to be angelic simply because it suits your agenda.
I was just finishing up some chores around the house and was ready to zip off to the range when Mrs. Weer’d informed me that she had noticed some blood in that way that women are to expect about once a month under normal circumstances.
Of course pregnancy is NOT one of those circumstances. So well called the doctor, and they suggested we come in and get checked out.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG story short (if only one could do that in the midst of the long story), Mrs. Weer’d is 100% fine, and the doctors have no idea where the blood came from, but its certainly not any of those things pregnant women should be concerned about….and LaWeer’da is in BIG trouble! I sent her to her room for the next two months. She’s GROUNDED!
Frankly both of us are shot now, so range-trip has been re-scheduled for tomorrow.
That should go better.

The body of an 8-year-old girl who was abducted Friday night from a Walmart in Jacksonville, Florida, was discovered Saturday morning, police said.
“This is a transition from an abduction investigation to a murder investigation,” Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office spokesman Shannon Hartley told reporters. “Obviously, we have the unfortunate answer that we didn’t want to have.”
Donald James Smith, 56, faces kidnapping and murder charges. He was listed as being held without bond Saturday night.
Smith is a registered sex offender who was released from custody on May 31, according to Michael Williams, director of the sheriff’s investigations department. Authorities from the sheriff’s office had just made contact with him to verify his address on Friday morning, Williams said.
He was released at the end of MAY????? Also note that like all “Gun Death” stories, because this is a serial and there is a substantial backlog so this isn’t a current story! Didn’t take the bastard long did it?
AND WE LET HIM FREE!!!!! They talk about gun registries…we also have sex offender registries. Doesn’t do SHIT to keep us safer. Putting these fiends in the ground would be a good start, tho!
