“Gun Death” Earthquake

Ok this is a VERY interesting spin on “Gun Death?”.

The trial of six Italian scientists and a former government official for manslaughter over the 2009 earthquake in L’Aquila has opened in the city.

The 6.3 magnitude quake devastated the city and killed 309 people.

Prosecutors allege the defendants gave a falsely reassuring statement before the quake after studying hundreds of tremors that had shaken the city.

Interesting that they’re charging people for deaths as a result of an Earth Quake.

Furthermore disasters like this, as well as disease, aren’t even considered for “Gun Death” when the antis pile on the body count to push their agenda.

Those lives have zero value to them.

One does have to wonder WTF is going on in the Italian Legal System. I thought our Ambulance Chasers were bad. They must be expecting to get some of that German Eurozone Cash or something.

  2. Kristopher says:

    Insanity.

The panel had found that they cannot predict an earthquake, and recommended people correct seismically weak structures, like those piles of bricks they were living in.

    Exactly how is this manslaughter?

It’s too bad that prosecutors in Italy can’t be sued for being grandstanding dumbasses.

  3. Firehand says:

Got to be one of the more idiotic things I’ve read of lately.

    And considering the competition…
