Images of the Antis: Wahhh???

Miguel found this one that just gets me scratching my head:

Woah, WHAT???

What are they even trying to say?

Now I call where I keep my guns “The Armory”, not only as a boast that I own a bunch of guns, but it’s also where I work on my guns. I have lots of gun-related tools down here. From hammers and screw drivers, and micrometers, scales, bullet pullers. I also this is where the house tool rack is. In that are wrenches, clamps, saw horses, saws, drills ect.

Also there is a big old pipe wrench.

So yeah, I did buy a monkey wrench, specifically when we were replacing a shower head and our smaller wrenches wouldn’t get that thing to turn. I had guns, but since I’m not as stupid as CSGV obviously is, I didn’t reach for my shotgun, I went out and bought the proper wrench for the job.

Now when I got up this morning I stuck my Ruger LCR .357 in my pocket along with a few speed strips of ammo. I also tucked a knife in my pocket. I used the knife to break down a few boxes to recycle, I also grabbed a bigger knife to cut up some of the bigger boxes into smaller pieces because the larger blade does a better job on thick cardboard than my little pocket knife….but the larger blade isn’t very good for carry or smaller jobs.

The point I’m making, and should be obvious is that tools have uses. Some tools like a waffle iron have very limited applications, while a hammer or a screw driver can be used for any number of tasks from manipulating screws to poking and prying things.

Guns are tools too, and their applications are ideal for projecting a bullet at things.

This is just another example of the antis wanting to change the language, but really just making them look like a bunch of children who don’t even know how to hammer in a nail by themselves.

    Uh…. let’s change their wording a bit:

“If a saw is just a “tool”, why don’t you buy a monkey wrench?”

Wow! Different tools have different purposes!

  2. Bob S. says:

Ask the antis why they don’t call a plumber to their house when it is being broken into.

The only time it doesn’t make a difference which tool to use; when the tool is a member of CSGV.

  3. Burnt Toast says:

Sure, a gun is a tool, just as much as is a monkey wrench. Each has their purpose – too be used for some end – though monkey wrenches seem to be relics.

Also, like patsies, prostitutes, and ditch diggers, CSGV is a tool too. Unlike guns and monkey wrenches; but like patsies, prostitutes, and ditch diggers, they have some level of self-awareness; unlike patsies, prostitutes, and ditch diggers, I doubt CSGV are aware of what they are being used for.

  4. C. S. P. Schofield says:

Someone should make a satire poster with the slogan “If a gun is just a tool, why don’t you take ME home?”

and sign it “The Coalition to Promote Gun Hysteria”

  5. Jack/OH says:

The snide, catty/bitchy rhetorical question is loser’s rhetoric. No political content there. The only intent, I’ll guess, is to reassure insiders they’re really superior to “those people”. (Of course, a firearm’s a tool. Duh!)

  6. Dan says:

I will when they make a Monkey wrench that exceeds 1100fps

  7. TS says:

I guess they never heard the phrase, “the right tool for the job”.

    These people don’t work much.

  8. Jack/OH says:

You lawfully and successfully defend against a home invader with . . . a monkey wrench. Comment, CSGV? Didn’t think so. Time to move on. BTW-I’m still willing to listen to anyone with the balls and integrity to deliver a full-tilt argument for Second Amendment repeal, firearms confiscation, bureaucratic enforcement apparatus, etc.

But the foie-gras eaters inside the Beltway don’t think like that, do they? They’re too busy cooking up self-serving regulatory schemes that’ll have some Kansas nobody with a .22 rifle thinking he’s some sort of criminal because he forgot to comply with something or other.
