Another one that doesn’t count.

Ok I still have weeks of “Gun Death?” backlogs thanks to my loyal readers. But taking care of my sick wife has really made this ghoulish collection sit heavy on my stomach. Still this local story has so many lessons, I need to break the hiatus.

Two Boston high school students and a 20-year-old have been charged with luring a pizza deliveryman to an empty Hyde Park apartment, viciously stabbing him to death, then fleeing in his car with a little more than $100 in stolen cash and a box of pizza, officials said yesterday.

First up for those of you “from away” Hyde Park is a crappy neighborhood in Boston.

So what do we have here. First we have a common example of one of the more dangerous urban careers. Delivery driver, and Real estate agents are frequently targeted for assault. Both can be called alone to a remote location without suspicion. The delivery drivers will be carrying cash from making change and previous deliveries. I don’t know the numbers on this, but when buying a house ALL of real estate agents I worked with, and almost all the agents I personally know are female, and all the agent ambush stories I’ve read are sexual assault.

Second we have a Hyde Park resident in a VERY dangerous job getting stabbed to death. In Boston its nearly impossible to get a permit to OWN a pistol, and unless you have political connections it is 100% impossible to get a carry permit.

Last. This man’s killers didn’t have a gun…nor did they need one. He’s dead, and the anti-rights crowd will ignore his death:

As long as 30,000 people a year die from gunshot wounds in this country, I will do what I can to stop that from happening.

But a poor pizza delivery man living in a shitty neighborhood? Fuck him!

CLASSY!

I just sent a comment to her post asking why the bell listed on her page does not toll for people stabbed, beaten, strangled, etc to death also. WHy was it felt that a special bell needed to be made only for people who were shot? Was it because individuals have an anti-gun agenda to push and do not care about the other murder victims?

Hit the reply comment button and got the nice little “All comments will be reviewed before being posted” flag. I wont hold my breath but maybe it will show up.
